Chapter 1.

In the early days no shadow existed. In that time only Love, Peace, and Truth, the three brings of the Void lived. They exist as one, and from them all things come. And Love was named Dhahem, and through him life came into existence. For it was Dhahem by his true love begot a giant folk.

Strong they were, and Dhahem fearing their strength had them bound in chains and hurled into the void, and over them Dhahem placed guardians of living fire. And to the Guardians Dhahem gave power far too great.

raging fiercely, the flames of desire ran through heaven and earth; living flames, intelligent, organized, and armed with destruction and plague. Among them was the undying spirit bound in chains, a child of Dhahem, named Atnung. made to watch the earth and the heaven burn. Clothed in curses and sparks of fury was Atnung, and the glory of the void was for him hidden from the wrath of the flames.

The flames scorched the sky and filled the void with dark smoke, the breath of Dhahem was taken, and in death’s twilight he sleeps.

Atnung broke free in a rage, hurling his chains into the depths of the Void. Atnung grew in the void, building up from his fury at all he saw. He was woken, and rose up until he was higher than the heavens. He mounted on high, and made war with Dhahem’s guardians, from the void until nonexistence, where nothing is.

With flowing water and bellowing ash Atnung cut the flames, breaking them wide apart. Through his warring he made sleep the undying fiercely-raging ocean of fire; and as Atnung was bound he bound the flames into a giant eye of golden light. And in that time Atnnung beheld the destruction all around him. Then he made his way into the darkness and shadowy obscurity; where he found the burnt nonliving body of of Dhahem.

And the fire in shaking and horror beheld Atnung carrying the body of Dhahem, for he stood apart, the conqueror of the void. A triumphant king of a blackened realm. And to the giant eye of fire Atnung gave the name Auros, and he was to the flames as a fierce wolf among sheep, terrorizing and strong. Auros, he commanded to remain in the void unendingly to provide him with golden light shining and bright.

Thereafter, he broke open the chest of Dhahem and took the heart he found within it. He then placed his hand upon Auros until it became red with heat and pressed upon the wound closing it like it had never been made. Atnung laid the body within the darkness and placed the heart under the light of Auros, where after for 1827 years he searched the void for the lost Peace and Truth that were with Dhahem in the early days.
